The building hit in the attack by Israel on Beirut, which has raised the death toll to 4, has been captured in images.

The toll is rising following the attack carried out by Israel on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, yesterday. As the debris removal efforts begin after the attack, the death toll has increased to 4. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 83 people were injured in the attack. In the ministry’s statement, it was expressed that most of the injured were discharged after treatments in emergency services.

Lebanese security sources reported that Fuad Shukr, one of the senior advisors of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, targeted by Israel, survived the airstrike on Beirut, and that 2 people lost their lives in the attack. However, Hezbollah sources claimed that Fuad Shukr was under the rubble. It remains unclear whether Fuad Shukr has died or not.

In a statement made by the Israel Defense Forces during the night, it was claimed that Shukr was killed in the attack.

Scene footage captured

The targeted building in the attack on the capital Beirut was recorded by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). While the area was cordoned off for security, damage was also seen in the buildings surrounding the struck building. An eyewitness, who did not wish to be named, shared their feelings, saying, “We were living safely, preserving our pride and dignity, but suddenly they started killing us.” The eyewitness, stating that “both the East and the West have betrayed us,” added, “They are all murderers. They attacked us; we are people of the Quran, and the Quran has taught us that taking a life is a great sin. But they do not care; they kill women and children, they want them to be displaced to camps, and then they bomb the camps. They have burned our people, destroyed them. Where is humanity, where are human rights? They will arrest you or kill you, they will seize your land and home. There is no greater injustice than this. This is our land, our homeland, and we will never leave it. All religions prohibit attacking people, yet they attack us. We do not care; even if we die, we will die with our honor. What matters is the homeland.”
