In the presidential elections to be held in the United States in November, Vice President Kamala Harris, who is expected to be the Democratic Party’s candidate, held her first campaign rally in Wisconsin, stating, “I have fought against all kinds of criminals. So listen to me, I know what kind of person Donald Trump is.”
After President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the election race, Vice President Kamala Harris held her first campaign rally in Wisconsin. Speaking to a crowd of thousands in Milwaukee, one of the key states in the presidential elections, Harris stated that her priorities, if elected president, would be to combat child poverty, uphold union rights, provide affordable healthcare, and ensure “the ability to retire with dignity.” In her election speech, Harris expressed that the choice between her and the Republican Party’s candidate Donald Trump would be a choice “between freedom and chaos.” Harris said, “We believe in a future where every individual has the opportunity not just to survive but to thrive.”

Targeting Trump in her speech, Harris stated, “I have fought against all kinds of criminals. Aggressors who mistreat women, fraudsters who scam consumers, and schemers who break the rules for their own benefit. So listen to me, I know what kind of person Donald Trump is.”
Harris claimed that the Republican candidate Trump is supported by billionaires and represents the private interests of individuals and corporations, while her campaign is focused on “the people first.” Arguing that Trump’s policies are outdated and backward, Harris said, “We are not going backwards. Let me tell you why we are not going backwards. Ours is a struggle for the future.”
The Democratic politician promised to pass a risk-based gun confiscation law known as the “red flag law” to protect people from gun violence, conduct background checks during gun sales, and impose an assault weapon ban. “There are things we need to do in the next 105 days. We have an election to win ahead of us,” said Harris, adding in her first campaign speech, “Are we ready to fight? Yes, we will fight and we will win.”
