Vice President Yılmaz met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune

Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune within the scope of his Algeria contacts. Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz continues his contacts in Algeria. Yılmaz met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. During the meeting, current and potential cooperation opportunities, especially in the energy field, with Algeria were evaluated. The meeting also extensively addressed the increase of commercial relations and facilitation of trade to reach the previously determined $10 billion trade volume target between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Tebboune, as well as bilateral and regional issues. Yılmaz, in a statement on his social media account, stated, ‘We appreciate Algeria’s position against the humanitarian crimes committed by Israel in Palestine. We will continue our solidarity with Algeria on the Palestine issue and stand by our Palestinian brothers on every platform. I thank Mr. Tebboune and his delegation for their hospitality and express my wish for our increasing unity with our friendly and brotherly country Algeria on every platform.’ After the bilateral meeting between Deputy President Yılmaz and Tebboune, a meeting between the delegations was held.
