The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs requested its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible due to the increasing tension between Hezbollah and Israel. The escalating tension between Hezbollah Movement in Lebanon and Israel, which carries the risk of turning into a conflict, has prompted countries to take action. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait issued a warning not to travel to Lebanon considering the security developments in the region. The statement also urged all citizens in Lebanon who do not have an urgent need to leave the country as soon as possible, and those who cannot leave immediately to contact the embassy without delay. On the other hand, as the tension between Lebanon and Israel escalates in recent days, the Israeli army had approved operational plans for a possible attack on Lebanon on June 18. Israeli Foreign Minister Isreal Katz, in a statement the next day, said, ‘We are very close to deciding to change the rules of the game against Hezbollah and Lebanon. In a total war, Hezbollah will be destroyed, and Lebanon will suffer heavy blow.’
