Minister of Trade Bolat met with European businessmen

Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, met with European business people in Belgium.
Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, continues his contacts in Belgium. Minister Bolat met with European business people at the Permanent Representation of Turkey to the European Union (EU) building in the capital Brussels. After the meeting, Bolat stated, “In this meaningful meeting, we focused on further strengthening the commercial relations between Turkey and the EU and evaluating new cooperation opportunities.” Bolat mentioned that steps that can be taken to deepen the economic ties between the two sides and potential projects were discussed during the meeting, stating, “We emphasized the importance of cooperation that will mutually benefit in trade, investment, and innovation. The interest of European business people in Turkey and their enthusiasm for cooperation pleased us greatly.” Minister Bolat emphasized that the meeting was an important step to strengthen Turkey’s strong relations with the EU and to establish closer contacts with the European business world, stating, “I believe that such meetings will create new trade routes and partnerships for both Turkey and the EU. We will continue to achieve greater successes by working together with our business world.”
