The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, visited Gambia to attend the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). During the visit to Gambia’s capital Banjul, he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita.
During his visit to Gambia, Fidan held a series of important meetings. In the early hours of his visit, he met with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the Sudanese Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Awad Ali Mohammed, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Salah Jama, and the President of Gambia, Adama Barrow.
