Demonstrators Criticized NHK
The group protesting against NHK criticized its stance on Israel-Palestine news, calling for the announcement of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and neutrality. The demonstrators gathered in front of NHK’s official building to make their voices heard.
Call of the Demonstrators
During the protest, American citizen Michalle Goldsmith stated, ‘Isn’t it your duty to inform the public of the truth?’ emphasizing NHK’s responsibility to report news. Goldsmith noted the need to publicize the stories of innocent people killed by Israeli forces.
NHK’s Stance Criticized
Yoshiki Ueda, who participated in the protest, criticized NHK for not adequately covering the events in Gaza and for its biased reporting. Ueda argued that NHK should change its perspective and act impartially.
